City of Darwin is excited to announce a line-up of fun and engaging events for Children’s Week 2025 - a nationally celebrated week that empowers children to be seen, heard and celebrated in every community.
A highlight of the week is the Children’s Week Art Exhibition, where young artists can unleash their creativity and share their vision with the community. This year’s theme, “Everyone should know about Children’s Rights”, and invites children to explore and express their ideas through art.
“This exhibition is a chance for Darwin children to share their creativity and talents with the whole community,” Lord Mayor Peter Styles said.
“We’re proud to support Children’s Week again this year, celebrating not only the creativity of our young people but also the importance of children’s rights,” he added.
This annual event reflects City of Darwin's mission to building vibrant, inclusive, and connected communities, offering children and families opportunities to learn, play, and engage together.
