The 2026 Darwin-Garramilla Shorebird Festival is a community celebration of the remarkable migratory shorebirds that visit northern Australia each year. 

The Shorebird Welcome Festival at Nightcliff's Sunset Park will include bird-watching, suitable for beginners to the experienced with equipment available to use, face painting for children, and live music. Bring a picnic down or buy dinner form a nearby food truck and watch our amazing Shorebirds during Sunset.
