Bombing of Darwin Day will take place on the 19th of February 2024. On 19 February 1942, Darwin faced its largest-ever foreign attack during WWII, leaving hundreds dead and many more injured. This day marked the start of 64 air raids on the Top End lasting 18 months. Bombing of Darwin Day is a vital National Day of Observance, prompting reflection on the significant WWII events in the region.
