The 2026 Australian Open Water Cup is Here!

The 2026 Australian Open Water Cup is a national, multi-leg open water swimming series designed to develop athletes, strengthen club engagement, and elevate Australia’s global presence in open water sport. 
Swimming Northern Territory and Swimming Australia are proud to be hosting the first leg for 2026 here in the NT at the DARWIN WATERFRONT and we couldn't be more excited.. The series includes five competitive rounds across diverse Australian locations, each delivered in partnership with state swimming bodies.

Round 1 - Darwin NT - 22&23 Aug 2026
Round 2 - Coolum QLD - 10 Oct 2026
Round 3 - Coogee WA - 21&22 Nov 2026
Round 4 - West Lakes SA - 6 Dec 2026
Round 5 - Geelong VIC - 19 Dec 2026

Competitors please note that the 2026 Australian Open Water Cup will be run in conjunction with the 2026 Darwin Waterfront Classic (NT Open Water Championships) from the 22-23 August 2026. Please make sure that you read the meet information carefully.
