Tickets and raffle proceeds will help fund Carpentaria's Paediatric Equipment Program, which was developed in response to feedback from families, clinicians and the wider disability community to improve the process, accessibility and sustainability of trialling and purchasing paediatric assistive technology in the Northern Territory. The program aims to provide specialised items of assistive technology to eligible residents of the Northern Territory with a disability to trial or access short term hire of equipment, to enhance their safety, independence and wellbeing, and to assist them to live and participate in their community.
Carpentaria is a registered charity and non-profit organisation, and this program has been created as a community benefit venture. This fundraising event will contribute to the repairs, maintenance, acquisition, and purchase of new equipment into the program.
