United Nations Association Australia-NT, Office Gender Equity and Diversity and Charles Darwin University (CDU) Unite to Deliver Revamped International Women’s Day Walk & Celebration at CDU Danala Campus – Saturday 7 March 2026 The United Nations Association of Australia Northern Territory Division (UNAA-NT), Office of Gender Equity and Diversity Northern Territory (OGED) and Charles Darwin University (CDU) are proud to announce they are co-hosting the 2026 International Women’s Day (IWD) Walk and Celebration — refreshed, reimagined and set in a vibrant new location at CDU’s stunning Danala Campus in the City.
Taking place on Saturday 7 March 2026, this year’s event will bring the community together to celebrate women’s achievements while championing the United Nations theme of “Rights, Justice and Action.

Location: CDU Danala Campus (City) - 54 Cavenagh Street, Darwin

- 8:30am: Walk Commences
For the first time, both the start and finish of the walk will be hosted at the beautiful Danala Campus, creating a central hub of energy, connection and celebration in the heart of the city.
After the walk, participants can join stallholders and hear from a range of fantastic women during the information sessions all inside the campus on Level 1.
Join the team at the Radical Centre (inside Level 1) to hear about women in STEM Visit the CDU MIDPUL Art Gallery (inside Level 1)
Enjoy a free sausage sizzle generously cooked by the Lions Club of Casuarina, grab a coffee from My Little Coffee House, or refresh with juice from Harvest Press, who will be on-site outside Level 1.
