City of Darwin has thousands of native plants to give away to residents for free! 

Come down to Old McMillan’s Park on Wednesday, 24 August from 10am until 1pm.

There are up to 1,500 native tube stock plants available, and you can take up to 6 per household 

Native plants generally require less water than exotic species, are low maintenance, and provide a reliable food source and valuable habitat for native wildlife. 

The giveaway is for Darwin residents only. Proof of residence will be required.
