Learn to silver solder in this popular workshop, making a pretty sterling silver gemstone ring, a Ring with Bling!

Choose a stone from the variety of semi precious stones, and personalise your ring with a lacey bezel, decorative trim, embossed edging or add handmade wire curl or fabricated balls to make your unique design. Solder, file, sand and polish your ring to completion. 

Participants will receive an email before the class with instructions on the soldering process and safety in the studio. They will be given a demonstration and  guided through the techniques by the tutor.

This activity uses butane gas powered, hand held torches which are simple and easy to use on small jewellery pieces.
