For ages 12 - 14
Surrounded by nature, participants will enjoy a full day of creating stories, poems and songs, individually and/or in small groups.
Paints, crayons, pencils and collage materials will be available for participants to create visual ideas of the story/stories. Participants are also invited to bring their own supplies if preferred.

Diane Lucas short biography:
Diane Lucas came to live in Kakadu in 1983 to run a small outstation school for children of traditional owners. Her connections with First Nations people and country and having children has greatly influenced and inspired her life and writing. Diane has written 7 children’s books and produced a CD of songs published, and poetry and songs in anthologies for children.
Her latest book (in collaboration with Ben Tyler and Emma Long) was published in June ’21 ‘Walking in Gagudju Country- exploring the Monsoon Forest’
