• Everything in your general waste bin is sent to landfill.
• Disposing of waste in landfill is the least preferable option in the Waste Management Hierarchy, as explained in the diagram below. As such, residents are encouraged to consider your options when it comes to this waste stream to try prioritise options higher up on the waste hierarchy.
