Speed check sign Installations – Parer Drive, Moil and Brolga Street, Wulagi

The City of Darwin is pleased to announce the installation of speed check signs at two locations: Parer Drive near Casuarina Senior College in Moil, and Brolga Street near Wulagi Primary School. 

This project involves investigations, design, and installation of the speed check signs and is part of the Better Suburbs Program, which aims to enhance safety for road users and pedestrians. 

The works have commenced and are expected to be completed by the end of June 2025. 

Traffic control devices will be in place for the duration of the project to ensure public safety, so please follow all traffic management instructions. There will be minor impacts on parking and pedestrian walkways adjacent to the work site.

There will be noise disturbances and dust throughout the construction period. However, City of Darwin has made every effort to minimise impacts.
