City of Darwin advises that asphalt resurfacing works will be taking place on Ross Smith Avenue between Goldsmith Street and Dick Ward Drive.

The works involve removing the existing asphalt surface and replacing it with a new, heavy-duty asphalt layer. Line marking will also be reinstated.

The works are scheduled to commence on Friday 13 May 2022, weather and contractor availability permitting, and are expected to take four days to complete. Works will take place Monday to Saturday between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. Traffic control will be in place and detours around work areas are to be expected. Access to properties on Ross Smith Avenue will be maintained at all times. Reduced speed limits will also be in place outside of working hours. Please follow the directions of traffic controllers. Machinery will be used and some noise can be expected over the duration of the works.
