Running the World Majors with Allirra Jennings | Seniors Month

What started as a personal goal in 2013 has grown into a remarkable decade-long running journey for Allirra. From the rugged trails of the Northern Territory, where dodging feral donkeys in Kalkarindji become part of training, to navigating the complexities of international travel, fuelling and funding marathon dreams (even during the challenges of COVID), her dedication has been nothing short of inspiring.
Over the years, Allirra’s goals evolved beyond the finish line. Her passion for running became a family affair, encouraging her children to lace up and run alongside her. In a powerful full-circle moment, she celebrated her 10th marathon in 10 years in the very place where it all began - New York City. This time with her two eldest children by her side.
Allirra’s story is a testament to resilience, determination and the power of leading by example. From the outback to the Big Apple, she continues to inspire others to chase their goals. No matter how wild the path may be.
