These items can be recycled through your yellow recycling bin.

Everything in your yellow recycling bin is taken to our local Materials Recovery Facility or ‘merf’ for sorting, and then sent on for processing into something new.

The following items can be placed in your yellow recycling bin (all items must be unbagged):

• Cardboard, magazines, paper and cartons
• All hard plastic containers and lids, with lids removed
• Glass bottles and jars
• Aluminium and steel cans, trays and foil. Scrunch foil into a tennis ball size or bigger to ensure its detected!
