His upcoming release promises to captivate fans old and new, as Alex's bombastic signature beats nod to his ground breaking debut, "Black the Sun." This new work, however, reflects a mature and rich artistry informed by years of innovation and creative exploration. Blending early influences of roots-based blues and soul with his innate drive for experimentation, Alex's next chapter is a testament to his continuous evolution as a musician.
Supported by special guests, Territorian duo Leash and The Dusty Boots. Alicia Scobie (vocals/guitar), and Tim Webb’s (backing vocals/guitar) original tunes sit somewhere between alternative country, blues and folk. The band's “Tennant Creek Truths” EP was released in 2020. Written and produced whilst Leash was the 2019 Creative in Residence at the Library and Archives of the NT, it features songs that highlight the many positive stories and characters that come out of this small town in the middle of the NT.
